Assalamualaikum and hye everyone!! I want to do a short introduction of myself. As you can see in my profile, my name is Rasyidah Aqilah, but you guys can call me any nicknames that I've listed there hehehe. Basically, this blog is for me to tell you guys about my experience learning USRAH 1 throughout this semester in IIUM.  Let's get into it!

                                REFLECTION:

Throughout the semester, I've learned so may things in Usrah 1 session thanks to my naqibah, sister Hannan Khafidz. She is really nice, friendly and easygoing so I never felt stressed or pressured learning this subject. Moreover, she really explained the topics well. Its easier for me to understand things that she said. As I remember, we had learnt some topics related to Islam like Hadith Jibril, Pillars of Faith/Imaan, Ihsan & Eschathology, and more.

In the first topic, I learned about hadith Jibril. The hadith basically explain about the Incident where Jibreel (AS) met the Prophet (SAW). In the hadith, Jibreel (AS) asked questions to the Prophet about Islam. Personally, it was my first time to know about that hadith and the meaning is really interesting to look at because it really explain about the basic things in Islam like Pillars of Imaan, Pillars of Islam, and Ihsan.

In the next class, I learned about Pillars of Faith/ Imaan. To be honest, I already learnt about this topic back then when I was in my primary school until middle school. But as I learned about this topic that day, I was shocked by how detailed I learnt about Pillars Of Faith/Imaan in Usrah 1. I realized that throughout my life, I didn't really have a deep thought about those topic. My naqibah explained it to all of us in detail about each of those Pillars. As an example, the first pillars of Imaan is to believe in the existence of Allah. The first pillars basically means that we should believe that God does exist. Not only that, but, We must believe as a Muslim that Allah SWT is the only one God that is worth to be worshipped and that Allah SWT has no partner/child/family.

Moving on to the next topic, which is Ihsan & Eschathology. Ihsan basically means to believe in God Almighty without even the slightest speck of doubt, which means Ihsan is the highest level in the religion. Ihsan shows how important it is for Muslim to have a strong faith towards Allah SWT. Ihsan is important, but it also must be followed by the act of worshipping our God such as pray Salah, pay zakat, believe in Al-Qur'an and Sunnah, and so on. Eschathology is a field of study in Islam concerning future events that would happen in the end times. This fields includes the signs of the final age, the destruction of the universe and Judgement Day. Learning about eschathology are eye-opening topics to me  because it made me aware that this world is not temporary; and this topic always remind me that it is important to balance our life, this means that we should not only focusing on life in this Dunya, but also the life afterwards.

                            COLLABORATION:

We had our first individual assignment where we need to answer the questions asked by our naqibah about our opinion related to pillars of Islam and its relation to Pillars of Imaan in a website called 'Padlet'. I think everyone that attended those class that day are all involved in answering those question. I can see that everyone has their different opinion regarding the question.

For the Roleplay, me and my groupmate decided to made a poster titled "The Importance of Appreciating the Nature and Environment in Islam". You can see our poster down below:

In the making of this poster, me and my groupmate has made a discussion about the topic, searching for the material related to this topic,  making and editing this poster, and also divided parts for each of us to explain and present it to the other classmates. Alhamdulillah, our presentation went well :)

                                    WISH:

After studying Usrah 1, I learn many things about the basics of Islam that I've learned before, except Usrah really helps me to remember back some things that I already learnt in the past that I might be forgot about it. Moreover, I gain new information related to Islam. I hope that by learning Usrah, I can achieve more things in life such as having a better relationship with other people, especially Muslims and also try to apply things that I learn so that I can be a better Muslim one day amin In Shaa Allah. I know that being a Muslim is not as easy as it seems, but Islam is a true religion that facilitates its people. So believe in yourself, have faith in Islam, try to pray and seek help from Allah SWT and more, In shaa Allah our God will ease everything that burden us.

Thankyou for reading my blog, I hope that my blog can inspire everyone <3
