MY USRAH 2 JOURNEY

INTRODUCTION

Assalamualaikum w.b.t,

How are you guys doing today? I hope that everyone doing fine In shaa Allah ☺️ Firstly, I want to introduce myself again. My name is Rasyidah Aqilah (2116806), a second-year student in IIUM Gombak, Selangor. For today's blog, Im going to share about my experience learning usrah 2 conducted by my beloved naqibah, Sister Aida.

CONTRIBUTION
For this semester, our classes is conducted in two way; online and face to face session at SHAS IIUM mosques every tuesday and thursday. For the group assignment, we were asked to do a poster based on a title that was provided by sister Aida. My group (Group 2) decided to do a poster titled "The Joy and Power of khusyuk in prayer”. You can see the poster done by me and my groupmate below. Its pretty, isn't it? 🤭

EXPERIENCES

Based on my experience joining this class, I can say that it is one of the most fun and chill class I've ever attend. We always do some discussion based on a video sent by Sister Aida and we can express whatever opinion that we have in mind. This class really help me to voice out my opinion at ease because I actually  quite scared and nervous to speak publicly, even infront of my classmates. I really appreciate my naqibah and classmate because  they actively listen to my opinion and others as well without having any bad judgements towards each other, even if we didn't speak english fluently. All of the discussion that we did about those random video eventually lead to many things that we can learn about Islam such as Zakat, Fasting, Ibadah and so much more.

To end this blog, I want to thank sister Aida for being such a nice and kind naqibah throughout this usrah session. I really recommend everyone that want to take usrah class conducted by her. Till we meet again sister 🥰❤️
